For busy parents juggling work, school pickups, and dinner planning, this sounds helpful. In practice, it works like this: you tell Google Maps what you're craving, the AI selects a restaurant and adds items to your cart based on your request, and then you finish the transaction. Google hasn't fully automated the process because payment verification and confirming dietary restrictions or allergies require human oversight. The company prioritizes accuracy over speed here, which makes sense when it comes to food allergies.
